Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) was first introduced in 1963 by the American congress to regulate pharmaceutical production. That is the first GMP in the world. The effects of GMP on pharmaceutical production regulation, drug quality improvement, and drug quality assurance were so great that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued in 1980 another GMP for food production. All cosmetic products to be sold in American and European markets are required to meet American federal laws on cosmetics, or EU cosmetics directive respectively. GMP, short for Guideline for Good Manufacturing Practice of Cosmetic Products, is designed to protect the health of consumers who use cosmetics.    As a standard related to product R&D, production, and testing, ISO9001 is the corner stone of a company’s development.
